Inspired by the real-life unsung heroines of WWII…
The first women ever to fly in combat flew for the Soviet Union during WWII, they were known as the Night Witches. They flew in outdated planes made of canvas and wood, and dropped their bombs on their German enemy every fifteen minutes during the night to keep them from sleeping. They would end up dropping over 23,000 tons of bombs on the Nazis. Join us as we follow these brave young women through one evening during the war.
